Jason Baxter

I’m a hands-on product designer who builds working prototypes to shape direction and drive products through launch.

I work with product leaders to make sense of ambiguous problems and identify the right ones to solve. I do the detailed design and prototyping work, and I use experiments to learn what should move forward. I use AI coding agents, including Cursor, Claude Code, and Codex, to move from concept to working software, including production code when it helps the team ship.

I’ve spent more than 20 years designing and shaping software, with deep experience in regulated, data-heavy products in fintech and healthtech. Most recently, I led the design of Credit Karma’s first consumer AI experiences, including AI Shopping Agent, Money Management, and Credit Karma inside ChatGPT, on a platform used by more than 140 million people.
